Coming to the public soon after film festival season ends!

Limerence is the state of being infatuated or obsessed with another person, typically experienced involuntarily and characterized by a strong desire for reciprocation of one's feelings.

Within this piece Izzy aims to speak upon how women have to suppress their sexual wants and tendencies because society immediately jumps to calling them "sluts" or "whores" for giving in to these wants. A scene in the well known show Ted Lasso says it best when Keeley Jones states how she wants to "restructure society so women aren't constantly sexualized while simultaneously being crucified for being sexual". In this day and age even eye contact can feel like the threat of falling in love, or being too friendly can seem like an open door. These simple acts can be taken as so much more than what the reality of the situation is, solely because a woman is doing them.

Izzy is tired of feeling as if she is not able to freely express her sexuality without standards and without the danger of being taken advantage of… she wants to know what its like to show the sides of herself that she fear she cannot show because it is deemed un-ladylike.

That is why she made this film.
